WELCOME TO THE WESTIN BUILDING. Originally constructed in 1981 the building was named after its first anchor tenant, the Westin Hotels & Resorts which utilized the building as their corporate headquarters for approximately 10 years. The Westin Building is ideally suited to provide corporate clients with a down town Seattle office location that will meet and exceed their expectations from the building management to the spectacular views of the Puget Sound region.
SecurityThe Westin Building management has taken significant steps to maintain a safe and secure office environment by utilizing manned entry points during normal business hours including on-site building personnel twenty-four hours a day seven days a week. In addition to these steps the building maintains a network of closed circuit monitoring cameras which provide continuous video recording of all entrance ways, parking areas, and most common areas. The Westin Building Parking Garage and the Westin Building entrances require card key access at all times. Card key activity is recorded via integrated card access systems.
Fire, Life and SafetyIt is the strong desire of the Westin Building management to provide a safe working environment for our office tenants. The building’s fire, life, and safety systems, procedures and personnel are routinely exercised to ensure proper functioning in the unlikely event of an emergency. Office tenants are included in periodic evacuation drills to ensure proficiency in the event of an emergency. In addition, the building maintains a complete smoke and heat detection system working in conjunction with building wide fire suppression sprinkler systems.
